Recif Technologies is involved in the 450mm transition study, by taking part in the semi standards definition, as well as European initiatives.
- EEMI450 European consortium co-founder
, - EEMI450 European consortium Steering committee member,
- EEMI450 project - Work package leader,
- NGC450 Project leader.
The aim of the EEMI450 project is to identify the key enabling technologies and define proof-of-concepts in the complete spectrum of E&M 450mm development: wafer manufacturing and characterization, metrology, wafer-handling, automation and process modules.
Beyond this “proof-of-concepts“ phase, RECIF Technologies is project leader for the NGC450-CT306 project, labelled by CATRENE. The goal of this project is to enable in Europe the development of a wafer handling platform, dedicated to support the 450mm wafer size transition.
The project counts 10 partners from 4 countries, representing key European competencies from robotics, automation, materials, process and IC manufacturing field.
NGC450 has been introduced during the poster and demo session of the European Nanoelectronics Forum 2011, held in Dublin on November 15th and 16th.
These initiatives are driven in compliance with the standards and specifications being already settled by ISMI, and will also be in line with the delineation of both CATRENE and ENIAC JU projects definition.![]()
